We all secretly want those perfectly shaped eyebrows that make other features of our face look balanced, pleasant, and more beautiful. Apparently, we don’t realise how much it can enhance our look unless we see it for real. And what’s better than getting the perfect shape and size frozen?? on us using permanent makeup? We’ll never have to worry about drawing the perfect set of eyebrows again for a very long time.

However, even if you don’t want to invest in permanent makeup, you can find the perfect eyebrow shape for yourself using a technique known as eyebrow mapping. Even your PMU artist won’t start working on your eyebrows without doing eyebrow mapping.

So, what’s the deal with eyebrow mapping anyway?

It is pretty fair to start by saying that the same thing does not look equally great on everyone. While someone might look awesome with bold, perfectly arched eyebrows, others might look great with a subtler look. To put that into perspective, let me give examples.

How to apply the eyebrow mapping method?

You will need a white eye pencil or something similar, to draw lines on your face. Start by marking three primary points on your brows – First point should be put near the inner corner of the eye where the brow begins, second one must be at the highest point in the arc, and the third point must be at the tail end of the brow.

The highest point in your eyebrow must be placed by aligning it to the iris of the eye. That means, there should be an imaginary line that starts from the tip of your nose and passes through the iris of your eyes diagonally and touches the brows at that high point.

Finally, the tail end of your eyebrow should be aligned to the outer corner of the eye. That means, an imaginary line must start from the tip of your nose and reach the tail end of your eyebrow after touching the outer corner of your eye.

After that, simply map out the lines with the eye pencil as shown below:

The next step is to remove the hair strands that fall outside of the mapped area. And viola! This is how you get perfectly plucked eyebrows. It is not rocket science at all.
